Nestled in the heart of downtown San Jose, beginning at Park Ave and Hwy 87, and circling Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park on May 3 from 11 am to 1 pm, this extraordinary parade is more than just a day of festivities – it’s a cultural experience that embraces the essence of the Cinco de Mayo celebrations across the nation, a time when families come together to celebrate community, to be entertained by a colorful parade with floats, schools, marching bands, local companies, government, first responders, health and wellness organizations, cars, bicycles, dancers, nonprofits, and lots of wonderful music. Our inaugural parade promises an unforgettable experience that will leave a lasting impression on both locals and visitors alike.
